Ricky Ringer always wanted to become a bull rider, but his parents did not approve. At a young age, Ricky moved away from home and found solace at the rodeo. Riding bulls was his escape, but he could never win a championship. Twenty-five years later, along with his son, Lil’ Ricky, and fellow rider Ernie Courson, Ricky continues to ride and despite warnings from his wife, mother, and his ailing body, Ricky is determined to chase that elusive title or die trying.

This is the trailer to the documentary feature RIDE TILL I DIE, a two-time award winner on the film festival circuit in 2020, and available on demand on April 8, 2022. Utilizing two Sony FS700 cameras, and with help from Cynthia and Kenneth Kimbrell of Double K Rodeo Productions, we followed the Ringer family, along with best friend Ernie Courson, for three years to multiple rodeos and locations in Florida and captured their stories.
